Nine years ago, I embarked on my journey in the trucking industry. Like many before me, I faced the struggles of life on the road—being away from my family, all with the aim of providing for them. The sacrifices were significant, but they also fueled my determination to become more than just another driver. Throughout my years on the road, I quickly learned a harsh reality: many brokers retain a substantial percentage of the earnings, often leaving owner-operators with little to live on.
