Steps to Broker A Load From Point A to Point B

  • Broker Agents will need to contacts shipper

  • Broker Agents will provide shipper freight quotes and negotiation of the price

  • Shipper tenders load to broker

  • Documents need to be sent to the Broker Lead to approve credit on Shipper (if first time shipper with us)

  • Broker post load to load board (DAT or Truckstop load board)

  • Broker finds carrier to haul load

What You Bring:

  • 1+ year as an independent freight agent or broker (minimum 6 months considered).

  • Existing book of business with active carrier/customer relationships.

  • Strong sales drive, relationship-building skills, and the ambition to grow.

  • Laptop, internet connection, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Skills:

Costumer service agent with communication skills

Call center experience

Willing to develop skills

Experienced computer knowledge

Fluent English proficiency

Costumer service experience with manufactures and shippers

Shipping and delivery knowledge is a plus

Willing to work in night shifts, and on weekends to support with information with the carriers if need any information from the receiving department.

Fluent in English (verbal & written)
Call handling & customer support
Strong verbal communication & listening
Problem-solving under pressure
Fast and accurate typing
Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Ascend TMS systems and DAT load board (basic experience A+)
Positive and friendly telephone etiquette

Knowledge using AI tools, Gemini, and other platforms to do your research

Note:

Need to have availability to work during business hours and fallow up with customers.

Position as independent contractor as 1099 Form US Citizen

Pay base of commissions (You make as much you want and much effort you put out there)
